Ratings (1-10): video: 7 / audio: 8 / additional content: 7 / overall: 7.

This NTSC DVD edition, originally produced for home video by Lobster Films, Paris, reveals a full-frame, natural-speed video transfer from good to very-good 35mm (and possibly 16mm for some shots) source prints, restored in 2005 by Lenny Borger and Lobster Films. Tonal ranges are generally broad, with highlight and shadow details well-maintained in this transfer that looks good on high-definition television equipment capable of picture upscaling.

The film is accompanied by a music score by Antonio Coppola, performed by the Octuor de France.

This is our recommended home video edition of the film for North American collectors.

This PAL DVD edition, produced by Lobster Films, Paris, features a full-frame, natural-speed video transfer from a very-good to excellent 35mm source print, restored in 2005 by Lenny Borger and Lobster Films. We are a bit mystified by the significantly longer running time advertised for this edition (which could be an error).

The film is accompanied by a music score by Antonio Coppola, performed by the Octuor de France.

This would be our recommended home video edition for European collectors. North American collectors will need a region-free PAL DVD player capable of outputting an NTSC-compatible signal to view this edition.
